Super Bowl Predictions 2012: Why We Won't See Victor Cruz Salsa vs. Patriots
The Super Bowl is all about exploiting mismatches and dominating with superstar play. It is also time for the opposition to do everything in their power to lock up the best on the field, and that is why Super Bowl XLVI will be without a Victor Cruz salsa.
The Patriots are coming in with a secondary that is said to be anywhere from soft to non-existant. They are being labeled as a defense that would just as soon let the Giants walk into the end zone as they would play any amount of defense.
That's a hilarious assumption considering they were tasked with stopping one quarterback that has had claims on the term elite for some time now.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In the end, they dealt Joe Flacco and the Ravens a blow to the ego when they dispatched of them, 23-20.
They also found a way to decimate the Broncos running game on their way to a postseason route. This is not to say that the Giants are in the same league as those two teams offensively.
I have far too much confidence in them after seeing how Eli Manning has been playing. I also think this will be the most volatile attack the Patriots have seen all season.
That still doesn't mean that Victor Cruz will get the touchdown dance we are all expecting. The Patriots secondary has to make a choice going into Super Bowl XLVI. Do they split the defense and bank on stifling receivers that are far more talented than their corners, or do they overload one side.
I see them going to a zone defense with safety help to stile Cruz from destroying the Patriots and corner Terence Newman.
Incorporate the Patriots pass rush that includes beast Vince Wilfork, and you can see that Eli Manning will have issues getting off a deep pass.
This won't stop Cruz from being active, but it will keep him from dancing his infamous salsa touchdown dance.
