Super Bowl 2011 Score: Final Predictions for Super Bowl XLVI
After breaking down this game at to a microscopic level, ultimately, I expect Tom Brady and the Patriots to get the best of the Giants and avenge the Super Bowl loss from four years ago.
As bad as the Patriots secondary is and as explosive the Giants can be, the Patriots defense does tighten up in the red zone and keep points off the board. A lot is made of how many yards they give up, but they keep the score down and force timely turnovers, which is what really matters.
On the other side of the ball, a lot has been made about the Giants pass rush and how they are poised to repeat 2007 and get to Brady. Personally, I don't see it: They struggled to generate a consistent rush against a bad 49ers line in the NFC Championship game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In this game, they will have to get through a Patriots line that is getting healthier and has been consistent in protection all season long. The Patriots will use a lot of six linemen sets to give Brady more time to make throws.
Even if Rob Gronkowski is not 100 percent, he will still be a size mismatch for anyone on the Giants roster. If nothing else, he will make a big impact in the Patriots protection with chips at the line of scrimmage.
Of course, you never want to count out a Giants team that has been explosive on offense all season and has done a great job in clutch situations. But to me, their strengths are a bit overplayed and the comparisons to the 2007 team are somewhat inaccurate. The two teams are very different in a lot of aspects.
But if you add it all up and then give Bill Belichick two weeks to prepare, I like the Patriots chances to bring home another Lombardi trophy, with a final score of 28-24.
