Super Bowl 2012: Bold Predictions for Kelly Clarkson's National Anthem
Former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson will be singing the National Anthem at tonight's Super Bowl game between the New England Patriots and New York Giants.
There is nothing too special about the entire thing, but we can make it a little more interesting by making some bold predictions for her performance.
1. She will mess up at least one line

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Star Spangled Banner is not an easy song to sing, especially given all the pressure of singing such an important song in front of the entire country, and much of the world.
The line that I am guessing Clarkson will trip on is the last, which reads "O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?" She will have a stellar performance given her vocal range and abilities, but look for her to replace "O'er" with "For."
2. It is going to last a long time
Clarkson has a pretty deep voice, and she can likely milk this big opportunity for all it is worth. While some artists are able to sing the whole song pretty quickly, some have taken their sweet time to get through the thing.
Clarkson will likely make this a nice, slow rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
Be ready to be in this one for the long run.
3. She will wear a jersey
While most performers like to get all dressed up and glitzy for these types of performances, expect Clarkson to actually don a jersey that will be a mix of both these teams—or perhaps a potential favorite.
During one of her national anthems, back in 2006, she sported a Dallas Cowboys jersey.
