Erin Andrews Video: Watch ESPN Star Ask Brooklyn Decker to Play Her in Movie

Austin GreenMay 31, 2018

Apparently, Erin Andrews loves Brooklyn Decker as much as every man in America.

ESPN's sports reporter goddess drooled all over Decker at the GQ Super Bowl party in Indianapolis on Friday, begging the supermodel/actress/wife of Andy Roddick to play her in a potential ESPN movie.

This on-camera lovefest brings several thoughts to mind.

First of all, I'd like to apologize to every male who just sat through two minutes of screechy gossip. I can't give you back those two minutes of your life, and for that, I'm truly sorry. At least L.L. Cool J drowned out most of it.

Second, I love Erin Andrews as much as the next guy, but what does this say about her ego? Asking the cover girl from the 2010 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue to play you in a movie? Bold move. At least she didn't ask ESPN if she could play herself (as far as I know).

And third, do we really need an ESPN movie? Deadspin.com reported this summer that a film adaptation of ESPN: Those Guys Have All the Fun by James Miller and Tom Shales was in the works. It's supposedly going to be a Social Network-type flick about ESPN's rise from a small cable network to the media powerhouse they are today.

It could be interesting, but the casting has to be just right. Personally, I want to see Paul Giamatti as Tony Kornheiser and Pimp C of the Underground Kingz as Michael Wilbon.

If that happens, they could give the part of Andrews to Rosie O'Donnell, and I wouldn't care.
