Acura Super Bowl Commercial: Acura Delivers with Hilarious Seinfeld Web Extras
Celebrity appearances in Super Bowl ads can be corny sometimes, but such is not the case in Acura's Super Bowl commercial starring Jerry Seinfeld. The comic, desperate to acquire the first Acura NSX, goes to great lengths to do so.
Hilarity ensues.
And while the commercial that will air during the big game will feature cameos by the Soup Nazi, Jay Leno and an alien, the real gems from this concept come in the web extras the company has posted online with Seinfeld.

Private Comedy Show
Tough crowd for Jerry, huh?
I would have gone a different route. I mean, what's the deal with canned cranberry sauce? Here you've planned an elaborate feast and somebody goes and slaps some fancy Jell-O into a bowl?
You're carefully carving the turkey; they're carving little gelatinous squares that remind everyone of Jell-O Jigglers?
Where's the effort in that? (I think I'll let the professionals handle the joke writing from here on out.)
Small Talk
"What won't you put in an omelet? Where do you draw the line?"
Classic.

How did he get into their house?
Munchkin
The waiting room portion of this is hilarious. "I can't believe you never saw The Wizard of Oz!"
Zip Line
Really, the only funny thing about this is when the fourth wall is broken, if you enjoy that sort of humor. But for me, the zip line bit is when this whole commercial just spins too far into absurdity.
No, it isn't the alien in a bag or the last living munchkin—it's the Manhattan web of zip lines Jerry Seinfeld owns.
Now, if only we could get Larry David to join him for one of these commercials...
Hit me up on Twitter—my tweets are Super (Bowl), thanks for asking.
