WWE Straight from the Old School: The Miz Deserves Better!
From articles I have read, The Miz is stuck in second gear right now, taking the blame for the poor buy-rate from last years' Survivor Series. Give me a break! Miz deserves better from the company.
Since breaking into the business, he has done nothing but entertain, which is the name of the game. He has given his all, emerging as one of the best heels in the game.
Under the right circumstances, he could become champion again, taking his game to the next level. WWE should be careful with how they handle the character, or else everything that's been invested in him will go to waste.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
I'm just a fan, not an expert. I will not sit here and pretend that I get the logic of how business behind the scenes is done. Blaming The Miz for the Survivor Series is ridiculous to say the least. How in the world could the company, specifically Vince McMahon, put the responsibility of a major pay per view on the shoulders of one man?
Especially when that one man wasn't necessarily the one who the fans came to see. The hype surrounding Survivor Series was the tag-team of Rock and Cena and how they would co-exist for one time only.
Honestly, you could have put any tag-team combination in there against them and it wouldn't have mattered. What mattered most was seeing the two go at it, giving the fans a little taste of what we could expect at WrestleMania.
Other then Rock giving Cena a Rock-Bottom after the match was over, nothing significant happened. I don't know about the fans watching at home, but for those in attendance, myself included, seeing Rock alone was worth it. He gave us everything and then some, including sticking around afterwards to continue to entertain us.
Another thing worth mentioning was the fact that the New York City fans actually gave Miz his props when he came out, more so than we did for Cena. Miz held his own considering the opposition and should have been given a major push since.
I think I get it. WWE can't blame Rock because they're depending on him to carry the ball when he returns. With WrestleMania almost here and the promise of appearances leading into it, the company will need him more than ever to spark interest in the main event.
Cena is the biggest name in the company and is untouchable; he too is an important piece of the WrestleMania puzzle. R-Truth has already been in the dog house for his indiscretions. I suppose the logical scapegoat would be Miz, right?
Miz deserves better as I already stated! He is an incredible talent that can only get better as time goes on. Don't put the blame on his shoulders and punish him, put it on a number of other factors and move on.
Miz is a star but not a big enough star to carry a pay per view on his own, not yet anyway. This is the part where WWE allows Miz to do what he does best and continue to evolve.
If there is any hope for the future of the business, talents like Miz need to be cultivated in order to carry on.
Enough with the lame excuses and finger pointing, WWE! Miz is ready to pick up where he left off, on the path to superstardom.
