These teams are going to dwarf the pathetic 31 points they produced in 2008.

The Giants and Patriots are bound to engage in a shootout here. With two quarterbacks that threw for over 10,000 yards combined this season, the aerial assault is going to result in a ton of points scored in a hurry.

With both teams jacking up the score and two future Hall of Famers under center, both teams are bound to crack 40 points apiece.

Super Bowl XXIX between the 49ers and Broncos has the record for most points scored, with 75 points. Unlike that Super Bowl, this one is going to come down to the wire, making for an influx of points at the end that sends this one over the 75-point mark.

The Patriots will reign victorious

Everyone wants to talk about how hot the Giants are right now and how the Patriots are going to fall victim to their lethal pass rush.

The Patriots managed to escape the Ravens, who allotted the same amount of sacks (48) as the Giants did on the season.

The Giants took down the Packers at their worst and beat a 49ers squad by capitalizing on two costly muffed punts.

This high-octane shootout will come down to the wire, where quarterback play and coaching will be the difference between victory and defeat.

Assuming no Giants have stickem on their helmets, this go-around and miracles are averted, TB12 will capture his fourth ring and Bill Belichick will join Bill Walsh in head coaching royalty for all of eternity.

Expect an absurd amount of lead changes

Both teams are going to capitalize on the majority of their scoring opportunities. Anyone expecting either team to be up by a double-digit margin.

Both offenses are clicking and have a serious edge over the defenses in this matchup.

Neither passing attack is going to let up in this back-and-forth battle. Their encounter earlier in the season featured four lead changes in the fourth quarter. Expect at least seven to go down in this affair.
