Super Bowl Commercials 2012: Blockbuster Movie Trailers We Can't Wait to See

Super Bowl Sunday promises to reveal some blockbuster movie trailers that we can't wait to see. 

There will no doubt be some tasteless Bud Light ads, followed up by a talking baby and something about Pepsi. 

But beyond the products and services lies the entertainment.

Let's take a closer look at some of the big-time movie trailers we can't wait to interrupt Super Bowl XLVI.

The Avengers

It's superheroes saving the world from total annihilation, what else can you ask for from a soon-to-be summer blockbuster. 

Iron Man, Thor, the Incredible Hulk and Captain America are just some of our favorite superhero movie characters suiting up for this one. 

It's kind of funny that Marvel would release such a short Super Bowl teaser when a longer trailer already appears on YouTube, but with millions of eyeballs watching, I guess who can argue. 

Battleship

If you love the game Battleship, aliens, action and Peter Berg-directed films, then odds are you are going to be excited for 2012's Battleship.

In my opinion you can never go wrong with science-fiction action, especially when Earth is on the line.

Rihanna will star for the good guys in this one as well.

The Dictator

Sacha Baron Cohen is back in another goofball role following in the footsteps of Borat and Bruno, two of my personal favorites.

This movie has more of a legitimate cast than the others however, and includes appearances by Anna Faris, John C. Reilly and J.B. Smoove.

How can that not be funny?

Act of Valor

This February blockbuster is expected to be true to the action genre considering that it features active U.S. Navy SEALs destroying terrorists, saving lives and completing missions.

I like that this movie was originally designed as a recruiting tactic, it adds to the appeal and authenticity.

Act of Valor is scheduled for a Feb. 24, 2012 release.
