Seven points. That is the difference now between La Liga leaders Real Madrid and their eternal rivals, Barcelona.

Even if Barcelona beats Real Madrid when the two meet again at Camp Nou, the title is Madrid's to lose.

At the other end of the table, Real Zaragoza continues to fall behind the pack and is now six points adrift of their next competitor Sporting Gijon.

Here are the Predictions for Round 21 of La Liga.

Athletic Bilbao vs. Espanyol

Athletic Bilbao continues to climb up the table and now sits right behind Espanyol. Two points separate these teams in what should be a fantastic game.

Prediction: Athletic Bilbao win 1-0

Mallorca vs. Real Betis

Mallorca and Real Betis both lost last week. Real Betis has had some tough opposition but has now lost two out of three and last week's game was at home against Granada CF.

Prediction: Mallorca win 2-1

Levante vs. Racing Santander

Levante keeps trudging along in the top five and doesn't look like folding right now. They are tied on points with fifth place Espanyol though and a win here would be nice. Racing Santander has one away win to its credit and four draws. It is unlikely they will pick up points here.

Prediction: Levante win 3-0

Getafe vs. Real Madrid

Getafe hosts Real Madrid, Getafe loses to Real Madrid. Getafe may be hoping they can squeeze all three points of the two top teams at hope in one season. Not a very promising bet though.

Prediction: Real Madrid win 4-1

Barcelona vs. Real Sociedad

Last time these two teams met Real Sociedad forced a 2-2 draw. Barcelona cannot afford to keep dropping points but that has not been a problem at home this season.

Prediction: Barcelona win 4-0

Sporting Gijon vs. Osasuna

Sporting Gijon hosts an Osasuna team with a poor away record. The relegation battle will begin to heat up soon and teams like Sporting need all the points they can get at home.

Prediction: Sporting Gijon win 1-0

Sevilla vs. Villarreal

Sevilla continues to fall after a loss to Malaga last week. One has to wonder what happened to that early season form. Villarreal players will have gotten a major boost after holding Barcelona to a draw.

Prediction: Villarreal win 1-0

Real Zaragoza vs. Rayo Vallecano

Real Zaragoza hosts a team that is on the course to replace them as a La Liga competitor next season. Results need to come soon for the home team.

Prediction: Draw 1-1

Atletico Madrid vs. Valencia

Atletico Madrid has been climbing up the league and will have first Levante and then Valencia in its sights. Valencia was held at Racing Santander last week and don't seem to be too confident away from home.

Prediction: Atletico Madrid win 2-1

Granada CF vs. Malaga

Both teams picked up important wins last week. Malaga stays closer to the European spots and Granada got a little breathing room from the relegation race. Who wants it more this weekend?

Prediction: Malaga win 1-0
