Tom Brady's Happiness, Madonna's Dance Moves: BR5 2/3
Welcome to BR5—your source for sports and pop culture news.
Today’s episode of BR5 gets you up to date on everything from Tom Brady's happiness to Madonna's dance moves
Tom Brady needs your help; his wife says you should send him positive vibes for the Super Bowl. The New York Post says Gisele Bundchen is emailing her friends and Tom's, asking them to send notes of positive energy and prayer so he and his team can achieve their dreams of winning and Tom can be happy and fulfilled. Brady seems pretty happy and fulfilled already, with the whole three Super Bowl rings, shelves full of MVP awards and smoking-hot wife thing.
In more Super Bowl news, Chad Ochocinco is planning a touchdown celebration, just in case Gronk, Welker and all the other Patriots receivers are covered. This is the guy who caught the ball a mere 15 times this year, the guy who played just one more snap than I did in the playoffs. He says “I’ve been kind of quiet on the celebrations and the production this year, so if I score this Sunday I might do something.”
Madonna is showing off for Victor Cruz. The Material Girl says she’s seen the Super Bowl-bound Cruz do his salsa moves on the field and she’s inspired. So she’s expressing herself through the sincerest form of flattery—imitation. Madonna’s set to be the halftime show at the big game, and she took a crack at her own salsa during a pre-Super Bowl press conference.
Stephen A. Smith becomes the billionth person to flip Skip Bayless the bird. During a semi-heated on-air debate about Eli Manning, Smith very clearly gives his opponent the finger. Smith is now totally denying it on Twitter, saying, "I would never flip ANYONE the Bird -- including Skip Bayless." He knows there were cameras on him, right?
He is, now he isn't. Fueling more rumor and speculation than a Brett Favre retirement announcement, the drama over Peyton Manning's status in Indy continues. ESPN is saying Peyton was medically cleared to play next season. Then at 2 a.m., Jim Irsay stepped in saying he was NOT cleared by the Colts. Get your stories straight, guys!
