If Tom Brady is going to win his third Super Bowl MVP this Sunday night, then wouldn't that mean that I believe that the New England Patriots are going to win Super Bowl XLVI? You bet.

I am going with the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI over the New York Giants.

With that being said, I firmly believe that Brady is going to have a game for the ages and he'll win his third Super Bowl MVP award.

Why do I believe that Brady will play so well?

For starters, this is a revenge game for Brady and the Patriots—even though they will not admit it. New England will look to right the ship and do the best that they can to erase Super Bowl XLII from their memories with a Super Bowl XLVI victory over the Giants.

Also might I add that Brady is coming off of an extremely subpar performance in the AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens where he threw two interceptions, failed to throw a touchdown and compiled just 239 passing yards.

Very rarely do you see Brady have back-to-back below average games, which leads me to believe that he'll be lights out come kickoff Sunday night.

To build on the fact that Brady performed pretty poorly in the AFC Championship, I know that he's going to be coming out Sunday with a fire in his eye and such a chip on his shoulder that he's simply going to shred New York's defense to pieces.

I can guarantee to you that ever since Brady stepped foot into New England's locker room back at Gillette Stadium two weeks ago, he has been upset with himself ever since. It's something that has been building up for two weeks now and he's going to unleash on the New York Giants.

You can count on it.
