The Good

Alabama

The Crimson finished with No.1 class in the country. They have top prospects like LB Reggie Ragland, DB Landon Collins, ATH Eddie Williams, RB T.J. Yeldon and WR Chris Black.

This class is loaded with talent, and the Crimson Tide have stockpiled their roster yet again with elite prospects.

Florida State

The Seminoles' class is also very good and can rival Bama's. DE Mario Edwards and DT Eddie Goldman should be superstars in a few seasons. RB Mario Pender has NFL potential, and CB Ronald Darby will aid an already uber-talented secondary. DE Chris Casher is solid, and WR Marvin Bracy is the fastest player in America.

They will have to battle Stanford to keep 5-star QB Jameis Winston, however.

Stanford

Stanford is becoming the new Notre Dame for academically inclined football stars. The Farm is the new hot spot players who have elite talent on the field and in the classroom.

OT Andrus Peat is the headliner and is joined by OT Kyle Murphy and OG Josh Garnett on the trenches. RB Barry Sanders will give the Cardinal a new type of back, and LB Noor Davis and DB Alex Carter will likely be starters soon enough.

USC

You have to give SC a ton of credit. Faced with severe scholarship limits due to NCAA sanctions, the Trojans still hauled in a top 15 class.

ATH Nelson Agholor and DT Leonard Williams are two huge gets from Florida. Toss in LBs Scott Starr and Jabari Ruffin, TE Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick, OLs Zach Banner and Jordan Simmons and JUCO DB Gerald Bowman with OT Max Tuerk and WR Darreus Rogers, and you get my drift.

Michigan

Applaud Brady Hoke here, folks. What a stellar job he did in his first full cycle. He lands a top 10 class and has put Michigan back on the recruiting map.

Big Blue has a quartet of stud LBs coming along in with a talented CB in Terry Richardson, OTs Kyle Kalis and Erik Magnuson, DEs Tom Strobel and Chris Wormely, and DT Ondre Pipkins.

Great class incoming to Ann Arbor.

The Bad

Nebraska

The Cornhuskers signed 17 prospects, but finished 50th, per Scout.com. Plus, they failed to land 5-star OT Andrus Peat, whose brother Todd is on the team.

Subpar Big Red class in 2012.

Oklahoma State

I've never seen a school have such a great season and still be hit with so many decommitments. At one point during this cycle, the Pokes either had commitments from or sat great with players like LB Dalton Santos, WR/DB Kendall Sanders, WR Bralon Addison, RB Barry Sanders and DB LaDarrell McNeil.

Not one of them signed up to play in Stillwater on national signing day.

Wisconsin

I like Wisconsin's class, but 12 signees is not enough. Maybe the graduation monster is not coming after the Badgers too hard this year, so 12 is all they could take.

But maybe only 12 players wanted to play in Madison this year.

The quality of the class is solid, but it's small.

Kansas State

For the Wildcats to have gone 10-3, their recruiting class is just as bad as how good their season was.

Bill Snyder and co. do not have a good class this year.

Cincinnati

The Bearcats signed 30 players, but none are 4-star recruits. Sure, the star system can't be trusted as a solid standard of assessment, but it's a big part of all that we have right now.
