Super Bowl 2012: BenJarvus Green-Ellis Will Have Monumental Performance
BenJarvus Green-Ellis may be the most under-the-radar skill position player appearing in Super Bowl XLVI. That certainly doesn’t mean he can’t have a monster game.
“The Law Firm” as he has come to be known in football circles for possessing a name that resembles a fictional partnership between four lawyers, is a consistent, steady back that can handle the pressure of an important game.
Green-Ellis has never once fumbled in his entire career and is just 150 touches short of LaDainian Tomlinson’s all-time record of 712 touches without coughing up the ball.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This is a huge statistic when you take into account just how much a fumble in the Super Bowl, or any game in general, can swing momentum in the opposing team’s favor.
Coach Bill Belichick must have faith in his starting RB to produce and must know he will not turn the ball over in the biggest game of his life.
The Giants are going to be keying in on Tom Brady and the damage he can cause with his arm by slinging the rock downfield, so screens and draws to Green-Ellis should be extremely effective at first.
Once The Law Firm scares the pass rush enough that they hold off on just blindly attacking Brady, the Patriots can start airing it out and carving up the G-Men through the air.
He may not have a huge statistical game, and his impact might not show up in the box score, but BenJarvus Green-Ellis is a key member of this team and his ability to pound the rock without giving it up will be huge on Sunday.
