Gronkowski Songs and Tebow Jockey: BR5 2/2

Today’s episode of BR5 gets you up to date on everything from loving Gronk to Tim Tebow’s unmentionables.

Add rappers and 80’s cover bands to the list of Rob Gronkowski fans. The Patriots still haven’t confirmed that Gronkowski and his bum ankle will be on the field this Sunday for the Super Bowl and yet the Gronk already has been an inspiration to all types of musical talents. From the impressive, Grammy-winning producer Timbaland to the not so impressive New Hong Kong. The New England band’s song is cleverly titled “I Wanna Gronk.” The inspiration for this song, by the way, is by Twisted Sister...and they’re from New York.

Don't expect Tim Tebow to drop his pants anytime soon. The saintly QB is the new face of Jockey underwear and he will not be showing his undies in any of the ads. A picture of a pants-less Tebow was briefly on Jockey's website, but they've since pulled it down. A rep for the Tebowing one says "some things are better left to the imagination."

The New York Yankees just signed Justin Timberlake, sort of. JT is slated to play a Yankees scout in a new movie called Trouble with the Curve. He’ll be bringing sexy back to the big screen right alongside Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams in what totally sounds like a romantic comedy, but is actually billed as a baseball drama. 

Get ready for the big game this Sunday...the 2012 Lingerie Bowl. Every year a bunch of scantily clad women play football on Super Bowl Sunday, hoping that people will watch their game instead of the cool commercials. This year during halftime of that other game, the L.A. Temptation will play the Philadelphia Passion in a gridiron battle in their skivvies. What started out years ago as a place for Playboy models and C-list actresses to get a little publicity is now a full-on super-competitive game with hard hits, great catches and a decent amount of touchdowns...just like the guys. 

Insanely unconfirmed rumor alert! It’s being reported by a questionable source that Kim Kardashian has secretly been hooking up with New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez. Aspiring tabloid website starberryicecream.com says the affair has been going on since the first season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, which could mean at least some overlap with her temporary husband, Kris Humphries. We assume this report needs to be taken with a grain of salt and expect denials sometime soon...
