National Signing Day 2012: Grading the Texas Longhorns' Class of 2012

National signing day is a time when fanbases see their college football futures take shape right before their eyes.

This year, much like a number of previous years, Texas Longhorns fans saw head coach Mack Brown put together another wonderful class.

The 2012 Texas Longhorns' national signing day class is headlined by two 5-star commitments in running back Johnathan Gray and defensive tackle Malcom Brown. The signing of these two future stars propelled Texas to the second-best recruiting class, according to Rivals.com.

Texas improved its team in two positions in a big way when they received signatures from quarterback Connor Brewer and linebacker Torshiro Davis. These two players can make an impact at the beginning of the 2012 season and be the next great Longhorns to carry the team for the next four years.

So, what did you think of this year’s class? What would you grade it? Take a look at where the University of Texas landed on my grading scale.
