WrestleMania XXVIII: 10 Things We Want to See
Less than two months.
Can you feel it?
Can you feel the excitement building?
WrestleMania 28 is right around the corner. And we want it to be the best ever.
After a subpar Royal Rumble and a fantastic Monday Raw following the PPV, we expect the scene in Miami to be off the chain.
With the appearance of the Undertaker last week, you know things are pretty close to being complete. But who will face The Dead Man? Who will come out and shock us all? Who will Sheamus challenge? And of course, who will be this year's host?
And after those questions are answered, here are some things that would be pretty cool to see.
A Unified Title
1 of 10What if CM Punk and Daniel Bryan wrestled again?
If the match is anything like the one Monday night, it would tear the roof off the arena in Miami.
These two former ROH stars and current title holders had one of he more amazing matches in some time on television or on a PPV event (maybe not since Cena/Punk at MITB).
It is a shame (although perfectly planned) the match could not have a clean win for ether Punk or Bryan.
Maybe that could happen if things worked out. But right now, this cannot be put together until we know who Sheamus will face.
And then, there is Chris Jericho to deal with.
Randy Orton and Wade Barrett
2 of 10I see Greg Valentine and Roddy Piper when I think of the bad blood between these two.
Of course, this will be a huge match at the PPV.
The feud has everything and then some, with both wrestlers unrelenting in their pursuit of each other.
These has the makings of a traditional brawl from the 1980s.
The Return Of...
3 of 10Add your favorite wrestler in the sentence. How about this one... Stone Cold Steve Austin?
We all would think it is outstanding if Austin came back and participated in the PPV in some way.
I think he will host the show, and that's the bottom line.
R-Truth and Kofi Kingston Challenging Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler
4 of 10I am trying to think of all the tag teams that the WWE could come up with to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Titles.
I don't think Epico and Primo will have the titles past Elimination Chamber. Enter Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler. I am hoping creative will find a way to put the straps on Vickie Guerrero's boys.
And now enter R-Truth and Kofi Kingston, the two who I think are the tag team of the future in the WWE.
It's a step in the right direction. And other great competitors will follow their lead.
The Return of Layla and Michelle McCool
5 of 10If the Undertaker can return to action at WrestleMania 28, why can't his wife, Michelle McCool? There is nothing to this idea other than a wish on my part.
But having McCool in the Divas Division would add more of a spark to what has already taken place with the return of Kharma.
Also, McCool's former tag team partner, Layla's return would be a welcomed addition as well, but there is no word when that will happen after her injury.
Undertaker vs. Kane
6 of 10Thanks to the refusal of Triple H, Undertaker does not have a "dance" partner yet.
That should change after Elimination Chamber. But if Triple H does not accept the challenge, look for Kane to be the front runner to face the Dead Man.
I still think when it is all said and done, Triple H faces 'Taker and Kane continues his feud with John Cena.
Kharma vs. Beth Phoenix
7 of 10I don't know if the possibility exists for these two to heat things up before the PPV, but it's worth a shot.
Kharma is the most intimidating women's wrestler today. That title used to belong to Beth Phoenix, and now we have the chance to see who is the baddest gal in wrestling.
It may not happen in 60 days, but it needs to happen soon.
Rock and Cena Must Live Up to the Hype
8 of 10A year in the making. And it better be good.
We got a taste of it when the two tag-teamed against R-Truth and The Miz. Now it is one on one.
I say Rock wins, but it is done in such a way like Rock vs. Hogan where in the end, everyone was cheering for both of them.
Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust
9 of 10This has to happen.
Who is the better Rhodes wrestler? Who is more popular? Can youth beat experience? Can daddy be proud of both of them?
What ever the reason, this is the "Manning vs. Manning" of professional wrestling.
The Miz Needs to Be Involved Somehow
10 of 10He is too talented, and he is not being used properly.
Maybe some of that anger we see in him is real.
Miz has become a mid-card wrestler. That's a shame. Could he make some noise in an angle with another superstar not named R-Truth?
