Betting Line

Michigan (-4), according to Bodava.

Indiana can beat anyone at home, but they are going to unfriendly territory here. The Wolverines will take this one and will cover the spread in the process.

Key Injuries

Indiana G Maurice Creek is out for the season.

Indiana G Daniel Moore is doubtful.

Michigan G Eso Akunne is out.

Michigan F Jon Horford is doubtful.

What's at Stake?

Both teams are alive in the race for the regular-season Big Ten title, although only Michigan has a realistic chance. Both teams are ranked and easily going to the NCAA Tournament.

Still, seeding is important, and the winner of this game will have an inside track for the higher seed. This is especially true for Indiana, as it would give them a 2-0 series sweep.

What They're Saying

After losing to Minnesota, Amelia Rayno of the Minneapolis Star Tribune wrote that Indiana's youth is what makes them good, but also inconsistent.

"

The reality is that the Hoosiers are good and bad for the same reason: They are a rebuilding project -- one that's almost complete but still has the final stages of growing pains to overcome.

"

Nick Baumgardner of AnnArbor.com wrote that Michigan will be sticking with its new starting lineup of Stu Douglass, Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr. Zack Novak and Jordan Morgan, which has been strong for the Wolverines.

"

Beilein says he's been encouraged by that particular starting five's ability to begin games in a positive manner. Outside of a rough start against Arkansas, Michigan got off on the right foot against Michigan State, Purdue and Ohio State.

"

Indiana Player to Watch

Forward Cody Zeller. The super freshman is averaging better than 15 points and six rebounds a game. He is as responsible as any player for the resurgence of the Hoosiers. Indiana will need a good outing from him to win on the road.

Michigan Player to Watch

Guard Trey Burke. He is Zeller's primary rival for the conference Freshman of the Year award. If Michigan doesn't turn the ball over, they will win this game. A good performance from Burke will mean protecting the ball.

Key Matchup

Evan Smotrycz and Joshua Morgan vs. Zeller. If the big men at Michigan can contain Zeller, it is going to be a rough night for Indiana. If not, then an upset is distinctly possible. The battle in the paint will decide this game.

Prediction: Michigan 68, Indiana 57

Michigan will take this game. Both teams are good, but a slight edge does go to the Wolverines, especially at home.
