TNA Impact Wrestling Preview: England, Hulk Hogan, Gail Kim vs. Tara and More

TNA Wrestling presents a new episode of Impact Wrestling tonight and what a historic episode it will be.

For the first time in the company’s almost 10-year history, Impact Wrestling will emanate from London, England.

While TNA has only confirmed one match for this historic episode, there are sure to be more as the night goes on.

The company has also confirmed what are sure to be three in-ring segments.

Sting to Announce the World Title Match for Against All Odds

For weeks TNA world champion Bobby Roode has been taking out his two main challengers, Jeff Hardy and James Storm.

Hardy has already been given two title shots, and while Roode cheated to retain both times, Hardy nonetheless failed to capture the title.

Storm earned a title shot when he defeated Kurt Angle after the Genesis pay-per-view but it became null and void when the Roode/Hardy match ended in a no-contest.

Sting has punished Roode for his actions multiple times but the champion has always been able to weasel his way out unscathed.

Last week, he and Bully Ray lost a table’s match to Hardy and Storm but they got the last laugh. Before the show went off the air the bully and Roode beat down the faces and powerbombed Hardy through a table.

On at least one occasion, Roode had promised Bully Ray a title shot for his help but the former Dudley boy has yet to receive it.

What will Sting do about the title situation? Who will get a shot at the TNA World Championship at Against All Odds?

Who is Training Garett Bischoff?

Ever since Garett defied his father, Eric Bischoff, at the Bound for Glory PPV in October, the fans have seen the father and son go at it.

Eric would only give marching orders, though, as he gave the job of taking out Garett to Gunner.

After multiple defeats, Gunner finally was able to take out the younger Bischoff after a piledriver to the concrete in December.

After a month’s absence, Garett returned to TNA and general manager Sting welcomed him to the roster as a full-time wrestler. Since then Garett has been training with someone that he said would “blow his father’s mind.”

Last week Eric showed up at Garett’s gym and wanted to know who the trainer was. His trainer revealed himself, but only to Eric as Easy E quickly threw the cameraman out of the building.

Who is Garett Bischoff’s trainer and why does it have Eric Bischoff rattled? Will we find out tonight from London, England?

Gail Kim vs. Tara: Non-Title Match

Last week in a triple-threat match, Tara defeated Velvet Sky and Mickie James to become the No. 1 contender for the TNA Knockout’s Championship.

Later on backstage, champion Gail Kim was happy to see Tara win as they both know each other very well inside the ring. They’ll put on great matches, but she will ultimately retain her title.

Tara has not held the Knockout’s Championship since October 2010 when she held the title for one day. Her last lengthy reign came earlier that same year in January.

Does Tara still have it in her for another singles run with the company?

Tonight from London the fans will find out as she’ll get the chance to prove she can as she goes one-on-one with Gail Kim in a non-title match.

Can Tara defeat the champion and gain some momentum for Against All Odds or will Gail Kim continue to dominate the Knockout’s division?

Kurt Angle Scheduled to Appear

TNA fans have not seen Kurt Angle since his loss to James Storm on the January 12th edition of Impact Wrestling.

He had been fighting his way back to the top since losing the TNA Championship to Storm after Bound for Glory but the Olympic gold medalist wasn’t able to take down the Tennessee Cowboy.

What is Kurt Angle’s agenda tonight?

Is this a one-off appearance for the English fans or will Angle throw his hat into the ring and challenge for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship?

Hulk Hogan Set to Return to TNA

The Immortal Hulk Hogan has not been seen since after Bound for Glory.

The Icon Sting had defeated the leader of Immortal and the Hulkster of old returned when he turned on the heel stable.

Hulkamania was back and the TNA fans were excited.

Then he disappeared.

After a three-month absence Hulk Hogan is set to return to TNA Wrestling tonight on this historic episode from London.

This will also be Hogan’s first time in England in over a decade.

What does Hulk Hogan have in store for the TNA fans as he returns? Will he finish off Immortal once and for all?
