Ohio State Football Recruiting: 4-Star CB Armani Reeves Commits on Twitter

The commitments just keep rolling in for Urban Meyer and today was no different. According to Marc Givler of Rivals, top cornerback prospect Armani Reeves has decided to join his high school teammate Camren Williams at OSU. 

Reeves is rated as a 4-star by Rivals and the sixth-ranked cornerback in the nation, according to Scout.com. The product out of Catholic Memorial in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, was torn between Ohio State and Michigan but earlier tonight announced his decision on Twitter. 

The top prospect tweeted, "I'm going...... #BuckeyeNation #SilverBullets#GoBucks !!!!!! God led me here n in god I trust !! Lets go #BuckeyeNation !!!!"

This is a huge land for Urban Meyer, who not only received the commitment of a great player, but more importantly, kept a top prospect from going to Michigan. So far, Meyer has dominated the recruiting trail and with so many recruits considering Ohio State and Michigan each year, getting the best of Brady Hoke in the recruiting game has to be one of his top priorities. 

The 4-star CB will help fill in for the loss of recently dismissed Dominic Clarke and recent transfer Jeremy Cash. The cornerback position isn't as full as it was a few weeks ago, but Reeves has the talent and potential to make an impact on the field in his first season in Columbus. 

With the commitment of Reeves, Meyer and his staff now have even more momentum going into National Signing Day and even a higher leg up on archrival Michigan.
