WWE Royal Rumble 2012: The Winner Will Be Tied to the Anyone Can Enter Rule

The past two weeks we have heard the promotions for the Royal Rumble with the tag line, "every superstar is eligible to enter." This is most likely tied to the outcome of the rumble; why constantly push this piece of the puzzle if it only linked to having legends return for the event? Legends return each year for the Rumble Match. Currently we have Mick Foley already scheduled to be a part of the Royal Rumble and Hack Saw Jim Duggan is a popular rumor as well. But why emphasize that this is an important piece of information unless it was key to the match?

With anyone being to enter besides returning legends, let's take a look at who can be possible entrants into the the match.

1. Jerry The King Lawler—Lawler we all know he dons the tights every so often and has a match, usually in his home town to play to the crowd. But last year he had his Wrestlemania moment for the first time. Will this Rumble give him another match at mania.

2. Michael Cole—If Lawler is a possibility, so is Cole. He too was tied greatly to Mania last year. Perhaps we'll see him put on his orange singlet one more time.

3. Brett "The Hitman" Hart—He hasn't been around the WWE lately but he is a superstar and we could see the Hitman come back to possibly even eliminate the next man on my list and set them up for one more match.

.4 HBK Shawn Michaels—Will the Heartbreak Kid return to possibly have one more match? He's had enough time off and while him and Brett did make up, they could have one more match to settle up the score.

5. The Undertaker—Will this be the Deadman's return to the ring and usher in his match to Mania this year? Or will someone else like Chris Jeicho call out the Deadman and end the streak this year?

6. Triple H—The rumor mill is also a buzz that Triple H may be CM Punk's opponent for Mania with his return on Monday. He could keep on Laurinatis and basically dig into him that he is a screw up. All he had to do was get Punk to lose the title and he failed at that, so now he'll take care of it himself.

My bet is on Triple H. The Game will return for the Rumble as a late entry and be the one left standing in the end. He'll then show up on Monday to give Lauranitis the business but reveal that he wanted him to get rid of Punk.

This leads into the match of Punk vs. Triple H for Mania, giving Triple H the same status as Taker, that he just comes back for Mania to start the new season of WWE and build up the hype of the matches.

This Rumble is being laid out to be one surprise after another and I'm betting that the winner of the rumble will be one as well.
