WWE Royal Rumble: CM Punk Will Continue to Prove John Laurinaitis Sucks at Life

In just four days the 2012 Royal Rumble will take place and CM Punk will defend his title against Dolph Ziggler.

For the past three months, these two men have had outstanding matches week after week, their skills on the microphone have been perfect and each of them is playing their role so great, it's clear to see they're at the top of their game.

The one factor that is making this feud fail to reach the heights that others have in the past is one man, John Laurinatis.

CM Punk said it best last week on Monday Night Raw when he told Laurinatis that he just plain sucks at life, that he's failed at everything he's ever done and that he's jealous of the world champion.

In this and other rants by Punk, he's captured what we here at home were thinking: When the interim Raw general manager comes on, we all shut off. Laurinatis is boring, predictable, has a terrible speaking voice and a blank slate of a character.

Punk would be better off feuding with a plank of wood than continue this dibocal he has with good old Johnny Ace. The anonymous Raw GM had more personality and the arguments between Edge and a laptop were more entertaining.

I prefer the sound of the mail arriving than Laurinatis introducing himself and giving his title. I would rather have Vickie Guerrero and her "excuse me" shouts combined with an assitant of former Raw GM Mike Adamle than listen to one more week of Laurinatis on the microphone. 

He's vowed he will screw CM Punk out of the title, but it was revealed that Triple H will be arriving on the following Monday to determine John's place in the company.

Will this threat of dismissal stop the GM from causing Punk to lose? Or will Punk continue to antagonize Laurinatis, and call him out on everything that he's done and how he's sucked at it?

The most recent, and in my opinion the biggest thing at which Johnny failed, was taking the Go To Sleep (GTS) move from CM Punk. Did you watch closely on Monday night? Did you see it delivered and how the former wrestler propped himself up on Punk's shoulders and stared at the mat with such a blank expression, you wondered if Punk was delivering his finisher to a mannequin?

It was absolutely horrendous.

He sold that move about as well as Crystal Pepsi sold. Way to keep things going in this new reality era of wrestling, big guy.

Punk's attitude afterwards and his subsequent screaming at Laurinatis and whaling at the air made me wonder if he was somehow able to see the footage of what his scary finisher looked like when given to a man who, apparently has been lobotomized.

Will Laurinatis screw Punk out of the title at the Royal Rumble? I'm betting yes. Will he do it well? I'm betting no. Will he be fired on the following Monday Night Raw?

I'm praying to the wrestling Gods above that they will indeed smite down upon him and end this era of suckage that has been taking place on Monday nights. Let Triple H come back as the Raw GM and lead us into Wrestlemania.
