Auburn Football 2012: Season Schedule and Opponent Returning Starters

The 2012 SEC schedule has some interesting changes that might affect the Auburn Tigers. It is another tough schedule for the 2012 Auburn squad.  

For 2012 Auburn returns 18 starters. Auburn also has two new coordinators on the staff.

Auburn vs. Clemson

Clemson returns 14 starters for the 2012 season. They will be rebuilding their offensive line after losing five players from the two deep on this unit, four were starters. They also lose their starting defensive tackles and one defensive end from the defense. Clemson also has hired a new defensive coordinator.

Mississippi State returns only 13 starters for the 2012 season. They lose three starters from their offensive line and both starting safeties from the defense.

Auburn vs. LSU

LSU returns 14 starters from their 2011 SEC Championship Team. LSU loses both starting guards from the offensive line and their two most dependable backups for the guard and tackle positions. They also lose their starting receivers and starting fullback.

On defense they lose a lot depth at defensive back and linebacker.

Arkansas returns 15 starters for 2012. They will be breaking in all new starters at the receiving positions. Arkansas has hired a new defensive coordinator for 2012.
