There is a good chance that NBC will mobilize their entire stable of actors from their slumping sitcoms and post them in the crowd of the Super Bowl. This network needs all the help it can get. 

What songs will Madonna sing? 

Madonna continues the post-Nipplegate trend (interrupted briefly last year with the Black Eyed Peas) of featuring older acts for the halftime show. 

What is different about Madonna, though, is that she became famous singing songs that would just seem awkward for a lady her age to be singing. 

It is hard to see her singing a song like "Material Girl," "Papa Don't Preach" or "Like a Virgin" at this point in her career. She also can't rely on her more contemporary hits because there aren't any. 

All of this makes picking her song selection the most difficult of any artist in years.
