Steve Nash Video: Watch Phoenix Suns PG Show off His Epic X Games Skills

Adam WellsJun 7, 2018

Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash has made a living by doing exciting things on the basketball court. But he is also passionate about action sports and made a video for ESPN to be included in one of its Winter X Games events.

The video is surprisingly hilarious.

The part where we see him rehearsing his form in the locker room with the two women and the look on his face reminds me of that scene in Office Space, where Drew is talking to Peter about showing off his "O face."

The gags just keep coming from that point on, with Nash finally climbing to the top of a building and using his cape to land the epic jump.

There really is no reason for the Suns and ESPN not to let Nash take part in the action sports event in February. The team is just 6-10 this season and isn't likely to make any noise in the Western Conference.

The network is going downhill, pun intended, so having Nash as a part of the Winter X Games could do something to repair its already damaged reputation.

It is obvious from the video that he has legitimate X Games skill and talent; he just needs the right forum to showcase them. He went through all the trouble of making a video to impress ESPN and the fans, so then let him get in on the action.

Who knows? With his skills and natural ability on the basketball court, he could surprise analysts by winning a medal. He could then retire from the NBA, take up action sports full time and be a part of the 2014 Winter Olympics, where he will win a gold medal for Canada.

The NBA would be losing an extraordinary talent, but Nash would be the first basketball player to cross over into action sports. He would go down in the Guinness World Records book.
