Tebow Does Vegas, No Cougars Allowed: BR5, 1/20/12

TMZ catches Tim Tebow in Sin City, doing absolutely nothing worth reporting!  The adorably innocent and temporarily inactive QB went to sin city...and hardly did anything. He was there on business for a Nike photo shoot. But Timmy was not all about work, he did cut loose and go see Cirque Du Soleil.

Most people would be satisfied being the NBA’s all time leading scorer and an NY Times best-selling author, but not Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He’s taking on a new and awesome job: Global Cultural Ambassador for the United States. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton is sending Kareem off globetrotting to reach out to the youth of the world and to promote education, tolerance and diplomacy—and of course, to take part in the occasional basketball clinic.

So apparently, it’s inappropriate to call a cougar a cougar these days. Brand new Draper Corner
Canyon High School in Utah was all set to name their mascot the Cougar—as so many other schools have in the past—but this cougar was not meant to be. The ultra-sensitive board members decided middle-aged women might be offended by the term. Curiously, actual cougars had no reaction. Draper Corner ended up changing their school’s mascot to the Chargers.

Don’t call it a comeback...because it isn't. Terrell Owens says he’s returning to professional football—sort of. He’ll be playing in the Indoor Football League for the Allen Wranglers.  He will also become part-owner of the Texas team. The media-starved 38-year-old T.O. announced in a Tweet "THE WAIT IS OVER! GETCHA POPCORN READY!"  In addition to a stake in the team, T.O. is getting 500 thousand dollars for the upcoming season—that’s a lot more than the league average of 225 bucks a game.

A hot rumor on the web says Kim Kardashian is back with her ex, running back Reggie Bush.
These days, a grainy photo like this one practically counts as confirmation...so start spreading the alleged news! Also new in Kardashian-land, Kim’s lawsuit against the Gap, claiming their use of a look-a-like in a commercial damaged her reputation as a performer, is now being disputed. The ironic twist in the case? Reggie Bush allegedly dated that very same look-a-like from the ad after he
and Kim split.
