Ted Dibiase Doing Something His Father Never Could?

As many WWE fans know, Ted Dibiase Jr., son of "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase Sr. is starring in the sequel to The Marine, called The Marine 2—I know, we are baffled with the WWE's creativity.

But as we know when the WWE puts a guy in a movie he automatically gets a push. It will be no different for Dibiase.

It is already being advertised for a house show that Dibiase will be in a triple threat with CM Punk and William Regal for the Intercontinental Title. But should be getting a TV shot at it, unless he wins the house show match in about a month or two.

The house show will be around that time too, so we will have to wait and see on his comeback. I believe it will be before the house show though. That is what I know so far.

Which, I believe, something his father never won in his illustrious career was the IC Title. He never could buy himself that title it seems. Although he had challenged for it a few times.

If he were to win the IC Title it would only remind me more of Randy Orton when he was in the same stage Dibiase is in now in his career. The comparisons are so easy for people to see with them it is scary.

Both are former tag champions and now I believe Dibiase will join the IC Title fraternity too, with Orton, who held it a number of times. I would love to see Punk win it though, so possibly we could see Dibiase win it from him.

Or we could see him go face and take the title from Regal. I think he would be better as a heel though. However, he does have business to take care of with the Orton for punting him in the head months ago.

I want to see what happens with him and Cody Rhodes, now that they are no longer tag champions together and one is in The Legacy and the other is not. I do not think Dibiase would join the group and be under Orton.

I think if they were to feud it would be one of the best in the WWE. It seems everyone loves Orton, even though he is a heel. And people are starting to like Dibiase, too. And who could blame them?

So we could see the WWE go down that road. But I think Dibiase would love to win the IC Title because it would be something his father never did. And I personally think he will do that first.

Or possibly win it with help from Regal or if Punk wins it first he will win it from him. You got to think the WWE will have him win it considering he is in the new movie Marine 2. If it turns out well, then possibly he could get a World Title shot.

We will have to see about that, but the WWE is really high on him. So it looks possible
