Utah Merchandiser Prints National Collegiate Championship Gear!
A spokesman for a large merchandise company specializing in promotional college football gear announced plans for the Utah Utes to have a line of national collegiate championship shirts, hats, key chains, and coffee mugs to be sold starting Friday, Jan. 9, 2009.
We are excited to add the Utes merchandise to our growing number of championship items for the public, the spokesman said.
This may be a bit premature, as some people think Florida or Oklahoma will be crowned National College Champion on Thursday in the BCS Title game, being played in Miami.
When contacting the coach of the Utes, Kyle Whittingham, who had been notified of the merchandise deal, he stated our team is the National Champion this season.
We are 13-0 and have beaten five top 25 teams in the BCS, one of whom who held the number one ranking for six weeks!
All the other teams have at least one loss and have all beaten each other in various places this season.
Against common opponents, such as Alabama, we won by more and dominated that team better than the current number two team in the country.
Lesser teams in that conference, such as Mississippi, have beaten Florida, Texas Tech, and LSU.
We destroyed the team that beat Mississippi, as well as the team that beat USC and knocked the Trojans out of the number one spot as well.
Furthermore, if anyone thinks they have an issue with our number one status, or thinks they have a better team than us, it's pretty simple. Play us!
I, for one, can't wait for my Brian Johnson jersey to be delivered next week, along with my cool new t-shirt that says Utah Utes, Pride of the West, YOUR 2009 National Collegiate Football Champion.
I look great in red and white!
