As we all know, Jeff Hardy is the WWE Champion, and it looks like he'll be holding that title for a while.
Right?
Well, maybe not.

Edge is said to be winning the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble from Hardy, and that is just a small part of the story.
Remember when Hardy was attacked in a Boston hotel the night before Survivor Series? Well, the attacker has not yet been revealed. And he will strike again, this time bringing in Hardy's family.
What will happen? Word is that Hardy's fiancée Beth will be involved. Apparently it will be a hit-and-run, with Beth being injured and Hardy being fine but shaken.
Who is the man who wants to hurt The Charismatic Enigma?
It will be the newly acquired Christian Cage. Many believe this could be happening because Cage is so close with Edge. He supposedly attacked Hardy to get Edge the WWE Title and is angry that Hardy still ended up beating Edge for the WWE Title. So he will have to resort to taking him out for good.
This reminds me of a storyline the WWE did back in the '90s.
When Stone Cold got run over in a parking lot, the WWE got all the wrestlers to answer questions about who did it. And who wanted Stone Cold to not be the top guy anymore. It ended up being Rikishi.
He did it to help out The Rock, who is a close friend—like Cage is with Edge. Of course, they are storyline brothers in the WWE. I liked the storyline then in the '90s and can't wait to see what they do with this one.
Early reports said that Hardy will lose the WWE Title to Edge, and Cage will be revealed as the attacker. With motivation to get Cage back for hurting his fiancée, Hardy will turn down the opportunity to be champion again.
Cage will keep getting under Hardy's skin until he will do anything to get Cage at Wrestlemania in a match. That is all I know for now, but when I find out more, I will of course let you know.
