TNA Impact Wrestling Preview: A Knockouts Steel Cage Match, Roode/Storm and More

TNA Wrestling presents a new episode of Impact Wrestling tomorrow night.

Confirmed for the show is a big Knockouts Steel Cage match as well as one other match.

The company has also confirmed a few in-ring segments for the show as well.

Let’s see what TNA has in store for the fans tomorrow night.

A.J. Styles vs. Gunner

For the past several weeks, Gunner has been a complete wrecking machine.

He has taken Jesse Neal, Douglas Williams and Rob Van Dam out of commission and they haven’t been seen since Gunner DDT’d or piledrove them onto the concrete floor.

His first victim, Garett Bischoff, is now back and officially on the roster, which begs the question: Will Gunner go after Bischoff once again?

Not tomorrow night, as Gunner has a new challenge in the form of The Phenomenal A.J. Styles.

Styles has been with the company since day one and is the only wrestler on the roster to have won every single title, making him TNA’s first Grand Slam Champion.

Styles has faced bigger challenges than Gunner and succeeded, so history points to Styles for coming out victorious here.

We must factor in Christopher Daniels and Kazarian, though, as well as Ric Flair into this match.

Flair has been instrumental in Gunner’s recent success, and Daniels is once again feuding with Styles, only this time he has Kaz by his side.

Can A.J. Styles overcome the odds or will Gunner take out the Phenomenal?

Jeff Hardy and Sting React to Bobby Roode’s Actions Last Week

Ever since Bobby Roode won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, he has been defying general manager Sting every step of the way.

He has taken the easy way out of title defenses and has weaseled his way out of Sting’s punishments.

At Genesis, he got himself intentionally disqualified against Jeff Hardy just so he could retain his title. As punishment, Sting booked a rematch last week on Impact Wrestling.

Roode weaseled his way out of it when he had Bully Ray hit the ring and kick the referee in the face.

Will Sting attempt to punish the world champion once again? What will Jeff Hardy have to say in regards to being screwed out of the title again?

James Storm to Address His Upcoming Title Match Against Bobby Roode

James Storm realized his dream when he won the TNA World Championship from Kurt Angle after Bound for Glory.

His dream was then crushed by his tag-team partner at the time, Bobby Roode. Storm was then screwed out of his rematch by Angle, who attacked him before the match.

Over the next two months, Storm and Angle waged war against one another, with each picking up a victory: Storm at Final Resolution and Angle at Genesis.

Last week, the rubber match was held, which Storm won. In the process, the Tennessee Cowboy got his revenge on Kurt Angle and became the No. 1 contender for the title.

What will James Storm have to say about getting to face his former partner? How will Bobby Roode respond to having to face the man he took the title from in the first place?

Mickie James vs. Madison Rayne: Steel Cage Match

This feud dates back to last year when Mickie James got her first shot at the Knockout’s Championship.

These two women were in a heated feud for several months that resulted in Mickie taking the title away from Madison inside of a steel cage match at Lockdown.

Fast forward to 2012 and Mickie is feuding over the title once again, this time against Gail Kim.

With Gail and Madison also being the Knockout’s tag-team champions, that left Mickie no choice but to have to deal with Madison once again.

When Karen Jarrett was taken out of power, she left Madison control of the whole Knockout’s division. Unfortunately for her, it doesn’t work that way.

Sting quickly informed her that she wasn’t in charge and that he was taking the reins of the division.

Last week, Madison politely asked Sting for control of the division, but Sting instead rewarded her past decisions and affiliations with this match.

Can Mickie James get to Gail Kim by taking out her partner Madison Rayne inside the steel cage? Will Madison and Gail find a way to outsmart Mickie and Sting?

TNA Impact Wrestling is looking like it’ll be another good show.
