WWE Raw SuperShow: The WWE Should Do Away with the Special Guest Star Role
With the news that Perez Hilton will be special guest ring announcer for a divas match and Mr. Belding of Saved by the Bell fame on tonight's Raw SuperShow, I only have one thing to say to the WWE’s concept of having celebrity guests on Monday nights.
Really? Why is the WWE still sticking with this concept on their main show?
While former superstars like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bret Hart and Ted DiBiase make sense for being the guest star, the WWE having people like Snooki, Verne Troyer or Flavor Flav on Raw just doesn’t make sense over the course of the role.

The company should spend more time focusing on the matches or something related to the show instead of having superstars interact with the guest star for the week that will be gone as soon as the show is over at 11.
Even though the addition of celebrity guest stars help bring in viewers for Raw, the WWE should find another way of bringing in viewers instead of using people that really don’t have any connection to the company or can even be called a fan, for that matter.
So Bleachers, do you believe the guest star role has run its course on Monday nights and needs to be done away with, or does it need to continue?
