Last night at UFC 142, Rousimar Palhares proved once again why he is one of MMA's most dangerous submission artists. 

Palhares submitted Mike Massenzio in the first round of their fight via heel hook. 

Palhares has become come one of the UFC's most feared fighters because of how brutal his submissions can end up being. 

Because of this, he has become one of the best submission artists in MMA today.

Werdum has won multiple grappling champions, including two championships at the Abu Dhabi Combat Club. 

Besides Emelianenko, Werdum also holds a submission victory over Alistair Overeem.

Demian Maia

Maia has eight submission wins to his credit which includes one over Chael Sonnen.

Frank Mir

Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir is not only known for the number of submission victories he has, he's known for breaking people's arms. 

Mir's won 16 fights, with nine of those victories coming by submission. 

Mir's victims include Brock Lesnar and arm-breaking performances against Tim Sylvia and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
