NFL Playoff Schedule 2012: Why Patriots vs. Broncos Is Must-Watch Football

Saturday night's NFL divisional round battle between the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots will likely be the most-watched event in the United States this season, aside from the Super Bowl.

Why's that? Because it is must-watch football—hell, it's must-watch TV. 

The storylines for this game is gold—we got Tim Tebow vs. Tom Brady, Tim Tebow vs. Bill Belichick and Tim Tebow vs. Josh McDaniels, the man who drafted him. 

All of those storylines ultimately fall under the vast umbrella of "Tebowmania."

Now what is "Tebowmania?" Oh, I don't know—if you have no clue what it is then you have probably been living under a rock for the last two months. 

Tonight's game between the Broncos and the Patriots is simply going to be epic no matter what the score is. Even if the Denver Broncos are blown out by the Patriots, which is a definite possibility. 

The way that I look at tonight's game is that Tebow and the Broncos have nothing to lose, while all the pressure falls on the Patriots.

Denver has already had a successful season, as they won the AFC West, upset the Pittsburgh Steelers a week ago and more importantly, found their quarterback of the future in Tim Tebow—if they lose tonight, no one will even remember the 2011 Denver Broncos as losers, they will be remembered as the start of Tebow-era in Denver. 

For the Patriots, they have everything to lose. New England is the No. 1 seed in the AFC and look to snap a three-game playoff losing streak, with two of the last games being lost at home. If the Patriots do not come out on top tonight then hell could very well break lose in the city of Boston and quite possibly in the entire region of New England. 

There are just so many storylines that makes tonight's game so intriguing and entertaining. But it all comes back to "Tebowmania," and "Tebowmanina" is must-see TV.
