WWE Um...Question, When Are We Going to See Another TLC Match?

I know it seems as if we have just seen a TLC match in the WWE, but we haven't. It has been a while since we saw a true one. Now we did just have a ladder match involving Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho, but that was it.

I personally didn't care for it myself, although it did get exciting in the end. Both are ladder veterans, but not nearly as good as others and we all know who I am talking about.

It had been rumored that Edge and Jeff Hardy would have a TLC match, but that has been thrown out as many storylines or gimmick matches do sometimes. I personally think it would be great.

We have never seen a one on one match with Edge and Hardy contested in a TLC match. We have seen a match with Edge and Matt Hardy, Jeff's brother but never a one on one match with Jeff and Edge.

They have been in tag ladder matches together. As a matter of fact they were in the first ever tag team ladder match together, of course on opposite sides. It was E and C vs the Hardys in that match.

It is on the WWE Ladder match DVD, I challenge anyone who likes ladder or TLC matches to get it. The last real TLC match was about a one year ago as far as I know. Many know I am no WWE history guy.

The last one I remember was with Edge and The Undertaker, where the Undertaker had to win not to get banished. He ended up losing and we cannot see one at Wrestlemania because of the Money in the Bank match.

So when will we see another? We should be seeing on at the Rumble, but as I mentioned word from the creative says they canned the idea. Even though you would have the two best at the match in it.

If the Rumble match is not an incentive to see the Rumble the TLC match would have. So I have no idea why they wouldn't want to do it. The only reason would be because they would want to not tire them out.

Possibly having the loser attack someone in the Rumble match, and then winning it. Although word is Triple H will win, I would think that would happen. A SmackDown star should be winning the Rumble, considering RAW did last year with John Cena.

That would be the only reason why they would take a big cash flowing match like the TLC match off the Royal Rumble card. But of course we all know things can change heading into PPVs.

The Rumble is about two weeks away so we could possibly still hear that the WWE wants to do the TLC match. I feel that the WWE would have the best ladder match of all time if they put Edge and Hardy together for the WWE Title at the Rumble.

Or at least have them go at it sometime in 2009. WWE I challenge you to do it, even SmackDown head writer Michael Hayes wants to have it happen, and is said to have pitched the TLC idea to Vince McMahon several times.

When are we going to see one, I can't tell you. But I can see the next one having Edge and Jeff Hardy involved. I mean what a match, who wouldn't pay to see that? Can anyone honestly say they would want to see a TLC match involving those two?

I couldn't, so WWE make it happen sooner rather than later, possibly in the incredibly near future.
