AC Milan Transfer News: Milan Whiff on Man City Star Carlos Tevez Yet Again

The winds of change were blowing in Eastlands for wantaway star Carlos Tevez, but they quickly disappeared today.

According to a report from the Manchester Evening News, Tevez is not going anywhere yet:

The Italian giants had offered Tevez an escape route from the Etihad during the January transfer window – but any hopes of a switch to the San Siro appear to have fallen through.

Tevez has been a non-factor all season after his public falling out with manager Roberto Mancini.  

What Does It Mean?

Reports surrounding the Rossoneri indicate their desire to land Tevez does not come without consequence.

Aside from potentially taking on a hotheaded superstar like the Argentine striker, they could be selling off Alexandre Pato to make room for him.

The Brazilian Pato has been a key offensive weapon for the club since his arrival in 2007. 

What Happens Next?

For Tevez, this is just another major disappointment in his attempt to get away from Mancini and England as a whole.

For the Rossonei, they'll have to either work out another deal for Tevez or find a way to ease things over with Pato, who is keen on staying put.

AC Milan is currently tied atop the league with Juventus at 37 points apiece.
