WWE News: Cowboys Stadium Rumored as Possible Host for WrestleMania 29 in 2013
WrestleMania is the WWE’s biggest event each and every year.
The company’s flagship pay-per-view draws fans from all 50 states and numerous countries around the world, and it generates a ton of revenue for the city that hosts it.
Especially in recent years, cities have gotten into intense bidding wars to host WrestleMania, and there are still a number of cities campaigning to host the event in 2013.

But here is the latest report on a city that some think could be the frontrunner to host WrestleMania 29.
From Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com:
"There's a lot of talk that Dallas, Texas may host Wrestlemania 29, but I am told that nothing has been confirmed yet internally.
"
With all due respect to Mr. Johnson (who is a great wrestling journalist), I think he may be sadly mistaken.
According to NCAA.org, the South Regional of the 2013 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is currently scheduled to take place in Cowboys Stadium on March 29 and 31 of that year.
Since WrestleMania typically takes place in late March or early April, you would have to assume that the chances of Cowboys Stadium being able to host the NCAA tournament and the WWE’s flagship pay-per-view event are slim to none. There’s just too much that needs to be done in too short of a period to make it work.
Therefore, I’m still convinced that WWE officials will look to host WrestleMania 29 somewhere up north.
Including WrestleMania 28, five consecutive WrestleManias have taken place in the South, and four of those have been concentrated in the Southeast region of the United States. By constantly holding the WWE’s biggest PPV of the year in the same geographical area, the company is alienating some fans and preventing them from being able to attend the pay-per-view.
WWE officials have got to realize that at some point and look elsewhere—such as Toronto or somewhere in the Northeast—as a possible host city for WrestleMania 29.
