Super Bowl Predictions 2012: Tim Tebow and QBs Who We Want to Watch in Big Game

Eric BowmanJan 11, 2012

The Super Bowl will be here before you now it, and since it's the biggest sporting event of the year, fans wish to see some big name players competing.

It's all about the quarterbacks in the NFL, and nothing would be worse than watching a mediocre quarterback play in the Super Bowl.

Fans love excitement, as well as a good storyline. They have to be interested in tuning into the Super Bowl, and more so than just for the commercials.

With that said, here the top three QBs everyone would love to see play in the Super Bowl.

Tim Tebow

The Denver Broncos QB is the most popular player in the NFL. Whether you love him or hate him, you'd still want to watch him play in the Super Bowl.

He may be a sub-par QB, but because of his popularity, people will be very invested in that game. They'll want to either see him fail or see him triumph. Of course, he has to get there first, which will be far from easy.

Either way, the NFL wins since it would likely be the highest-rated Super Bowl ever. He's a tantalizing player, and that is why he'd be great for the Super Bowl.

Sure, Tebow has had some really awful games as an NFL starter, but no other player works harder and prepares the way he does. There's no question he would provide some type of magic in the national spotlight, and that's why people would want him in the Super Bowl.

Should the Green Bay Packers get back to the Super Bowl, Rodgers would have the chance to earn not just another ring, but also another Super Bowl MVP Award.

Rodgers has been virtually unstoppable all season long, and there's no doubt he'd be on the top of his game with everyone watching.

His MVP-like season this year has put him in the conversation as today's best QB, which is exactly the reason fans would want to watch him play.

Plus, Rodgers would have the chance to be the first QB since Tom Brady to win back-to-back Super Bowl titles.

The New Orleans Saints QB set the record for most passing yards in a single season, and there would be no better way to top that off than with a Super Bowl victory.

Getting there will prove to be difficult, but if Brees keeps playing at such a high level, the Saints have a good chance.

Having won it all a few years ago, Brees is itching to get back to the big game. He's a passing machine, and since fans love offense, he'd be a perfect fit to please everyone should he play in the Super Bowl.

It's hard not to like Brees, so watching him play in the Super Bowl would be a joy for all, as he truly is a great guy. What's more, it's possible he could set some type of record in the big game, making the game one for the ages.
