Bobcats vs. Knicks: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Spread Info and More

Alex KayJun 2, 2018

The New York Knicks are hosting the Charlotte Bobcats tonight and looking for revenge for their loss last Wednesday.

Nearly everyone is healthy and ready to go on both sides, so the faces should be familiar tonight from their meeting last week.

However, will the results turn out to be the same or vastly different?

What's At Stake?

These two teams met last Wednesday, and the Bobcats pulled of a surprising upset in New York, coming out victorious in a 118-110 game for just their second win of the season.

They have lost two straight since and are hoping to rebound with another solid performance in the Garden.

The Knicks won both their games after that loss and are going to try and avenge that embarrassing defeat on their home court.

What They're Saying

After the game against the Pistons on Saturday, Carmelo Anthony was already looking forward to revenge against the Bobcats and told reporters during his postgame interview:

"

We can build on these two road wins; go back home, we have Charlotte on Monday, we owe them. They came in our place and snuck one out, well we gave them one, so we want to redeem ourselves. We still want to build on this momentum that we’ve been gaining on the defensive end.

"

Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer noted that Bobcats coach Paul Silas was disappointed in his team’s loss, which was largely due to being out-muscled in the second half after leading the Pacers and out-rebounding them in the first.

"We didn't play tough. They banged us and we didn't respond. And that cannot be," Silas said. "Unless we're going to put everything out there ... "

Bobcats Player to Watch: Kemba Walker

The rookie guard has been inconsistent to start this season and needs to find his place in the offense and his role with the team.

He has the potential to be a star, but he must get comfortable first.

Knicks Player to Watch: Carmelo Anthony

Anthony is extremely upset that the Knicks gave the last game away to the lowly Bobcats and will be playing with a chip on his shoulder tonight.

Key Matchup: Tyrus Thomas vs. Carmelo Anthony

Thomas is going to be the guy assigned to ‘Melo for most of the night, so see if he can try and contain a strong, angry scorer who has a ton of ability on the offensive end of the floor.

Prediction

Knicks 117-Bobcats 95

New York is rolling right now and won’t let this Bobcats team get the best of them twice in one week. They are far too skilled and are taking it personally that they lost in the last meeting.
