Madusa: I Would Face Beth Phoneix for WWE Women's Title I Threw Away on Nitro
Madusa, better known to some WWE fans as Alundra Blayze, was one of the people who made the Monday Night Wars interesting.
She left WWE at the height of her career, with the WWE Women's Championship in hand. She showed up on Nitro and, in a move no one saw coming, threw the title in the trash right on the air.
This was one of the reasons Vince McMahon did not want Bret Hart to leave with the WWE title, he feared Hart would do the same thing.

Madusa still owns the title belt which made history that fateful Monday night all these years ago, and she has said there is only one person she would like to face for that title, Beth Phoenix.
In this video posted by the legendary women's wrestler, Madusa not only pitches her new monster truck-related merchandise, but she also mentions wrestling.
She has been asked numerous times if there was anyone she would return to the ring to face, and she singled out Beth Phoenix.
Beth is the current WWE Divas Champion, former WWE Women's Champion and the only Diva who seems to have backing by WWE management.
Madusa was one of the women who kept the division alive in the '90s when it was being all but ignored by WWE. She had great matches with the likes of Luna Vachon and Bull Nakano.
I think that WWE should pounce at the opportunity to do this for multiple reasons. First and foremost, this would give them the chance to get rid of that ugly Divas title belt.
WWE fans have been criticizing the belt since its introduction, and with WWE going back to the classic Intercontinental title and looking to revamp the WWE title it is possible they could revert back to the old Women's title design as well.
The design which Madusa used was a pink strapped belt which other than the strap looked like a real wrestling title. The Divas title looks likes a title belt from a cartoon that was brought to life.
Madusa looks good for her age and with some work she could probably be back in fighting shape by WrestleMania.
WWE always loves to use legends at 'Mania, why not do something that would not only do that, but bring some reall attention to the Divas division.
I think Madusa making a return to pass the torch and the classic title to Phoenix would up the stock of the Divas division greatly.
I always liked Madusa and feel she was given the short end of the stick when WCW failed to promote women's wrestling after she joined up.
Would you like to see these two face off?
