Chad Ochocinco: Rekindled Relationship with Evelyn Lozada Will End Badly

Adam WellsJun 7, 2018

Chad Ochocinco has never been one to mince words. He is going to say anything and everything that comes into his mind. It's a good thing he is such a smooth talker, because it allowed him to save his relationship with Evelyn Lozada.

According to TMZ.com, not only are Ochocinco and Lozada back together, but they are talking about getting married again.

"

Chad Ochocinco has saved his relationship with Evelyn Lozada the old fashioned way...with a lot of groveling...and the wedding is back on, this according to sources close to the couple.

As TMZ first reported, Lozada put their wedding plans on hold after she suspected Ocho was stepping out on her.

But according to our sources, Ocho broke down this week and apologized. We're told Ocho said he would do whatever it took to win her back and suggested the two go to couple's counseling.

Our sources say Evelyn agreed and they will seek help to work out their trust issues.

Ochocinco got a rude wake-up call this past year. He used to be one of the best receivers in the NFL, but with the New England Patriots, there were times you forgot that he was still playing.

Ochocinco had career lows 15 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown this season.

He had to do something to get some momentum back. Apparently, begging for forgiveness was enough to re-ignite this relationship. I hope that it works out for them.

But we have all seen enough athlete-reality television show diva relationships to know that there is not going to be a happy ending to this whole thing.

She was having issues trusting him before he came crawling back to her. Now, all of a sudden, everything is fine and they can work through their issues.

Nothing about this sounds normal, granted these two people are far from what society would describe as normal, but to each their own, I suppose.

And if they have a long, happy life together, more power to them. But this just seems like a cheap ploy to grab some headlines than it does about any real notion of them wanting to get back together.
