Steelers vs. Broncos: Watch Kickoff Bounce off Crossbar and Sit at 20-Yard Line

David DanielsJun 4, 2018

Return that Antonio Brown.

Tim TebowI mean, Matt Prater showed off hit cannon leg, pulling off the ultimate shot in a game of kickoff horse.  Bouncing it off the crossbar, Prater called the 20-yard line as the ball rolled backwards.  The combination of the thin Colorado mountain air and the Denver kicker’s atomic bomb of leg led to 47 touchbacks in the regular season and he continues racking them up in the postseason.

The Denver Broncos season has been highlighted by so many weird events this season.

First, Tebow actually won a game against the Oakland Raiders.  Then, they beat the Kansas City Chiefs after he completed only two passes.  That was followed by three straight victories in which they won the trio by 10 total points.

And the next game, they knocked off the Chicago Bears thanks to an extra special early Christmas present from Marion Barber.  Of course, to Merril Hoge and the gang, any win Tebow led the Broncos to this entire season was a Christmas miracle.

Right now, though, an even weirder event is occurring than all of those combined.  The pitiful Broncos are beating the prestigious, powerful Pittsburgh Steelers 20-6 in the playoffs.  No, this isn’t a dream.

If you really thought the Broncos had absolutely no shot, and that Mike Tomlin’s crew would make Denver look like they didn’t deserve to be on the same field, you must have lived under a rock this season.

After all, what’s that saying?  Fooled me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me?  Well, the NFL has been fooled by the Broncos over and over again and Denver continues to pile up miracles.
