Falcons vs. Giants Video: Watch Hakeem Nicks Do the Dirty Bird After 72-Yard TD
The New York Giants got off to a slow start in their NFC Wild Card game against the Atlanta Falcons, but then Hakeem Nicks decided that he was going to take over.
Catching a pass from Eli Manning at the 33-yard line, Nicks turned on the jets and just ran right through the Falcons secondary. When he got into the end zone, he decided to do his best impression of the "Dirty Bird" dance that the Falcons have made famous.
As great as Nicks' touchdown was, what in the world were the Falcons doing? I counted at least eight players that he just ran right by. I understand that he is a fast receiver, but when you have that many players around him and can't get one person to slow him down, that is a big problem.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
But I guess that's why the Falcons are a one-and-done playoff team every year.
The Giants needed some kind of spark to ignite them because they looked pretty lethargic up to this point. They were getting some drives going, but nothing that makes you think they can keep up with the Green Bay Packers next week.
Then Nicks comes out of nowhere to remind you just what this offense is capable of when they are firing on all cylinders.
I am not going to say that they will beat the Packers—I will wait a few days before officially deciding on that game--but it is not impossible to envision a scenario in which they do pull off the upset.
That is another story for another day. For now, just sit back, relax and enjoy Nicks' big play and then his dance at the end to put the cherry on top of what has been a terrific day for him.
