National Signing Day 2025: Announcement Schedule, Predictions and More
Top recruit Bryce Underwood officially signed his commitment letter to join the Michigan Wolverines in 2025 as part of the early signing period this past December.
For the high school athletes as of yet unsigned to the college for whom they will continue their pursuit of playing professional football, National Signing Day presents an opportunity to take that next big step in their progression.
Ahead of the big day, find out what the announcement schedule looks like and which unsigned players will put pen to paper on Wednesday.

Ty Haywood, OT
The six-foot-five-inch tackle out of Denton, Texas initially committed to Alabama but pulled it after not signing with the Crimson Tide during the early signing period in December. The subject of a late push by the Michigan Wolverines, which has fans of the maize and gold excited about the school's prospects of signing him, his future is anything but a guarantee.
The four-star recruit has received offers from the aforementioned Alabama, UCLA, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Florida State, to name a few, and is expected to make his announcement on Monday, February 3 ahead of the signing date.
Still, the impression made by the Wolverines late in the process has the 2023 national champions as the heavy favorite ahead of Haywood's decision.
That they landed the No. 1 recruit in Underwood and have a dynamic, exciting young head coach in Sherrone Moore who coached the team to a win over eventual national champions the Ohio State Buckeyes, did not hurt.
Prediction: Haywood signs with Michigan
Zahir Mathis, DE
The six-foot-six, 225-pound defensive end received offers as late as January 31, when Rutgers became number 20.
The Scarlett Knights joined Florida State, UCLA, Maryland, Florida State, Michigan, Michigan State, and Georgia, among others, who made offers to the four-star pass rusher.
Mathis originally committed to Ohio State but pulled it in November, stating the Buckeyes remain one of his top schools but he needed more time to make a potentially life-changing decision.
247 Sports predicts that Mathis will sign with the national champions and there is nothing to suggest that any of the other 19 teams who have made offers have done enough to set themselves apart from the Buckeyes.
If they do land him, the defending champs and best defense in the country lands another playmaker at a key position to help ensure future success.
His official announcement schedule has not yet been announced.
Prediction: Mathis signs with Ohio State
