Ja'Marr Chase: I'm Not Chiefs Fan, Hope Saquon Rushes for 200 Yards in Super Bowl 59

Ja'Marr Chase has made his pick for Super Bowl LIX clear.

The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver is rooting for a strong performance from Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley against the Kansas City Chiefs.

"Everyone knows I'm not a KC fan, so I'm hoping Saquon rushes for like 200 this game," Chase said in an interview on NFL Live (1:24 mark).

"I think overall, it'll be a great game just because both sides has great players on each side," he added.

Chase has leaned into the AFC rivalry between the Bengals and Chiefs, previously refusing to say Patrick Mahomes' name during an interview for the NFL's top 100 players for the 2024 season.

Cincinnati and Kansas City have faced off six times since Chase was drafted in 2021, with each team winning three games. The Bengals were the last team to eliminate the Chiefs in the playoffs during the 2021 season, but Kansas City has emerged victorious in each of the past three matchups between the two teams.

The Eagles will be attempting to prevent the Chiefs from winning their third straight Super Bowl title, led by an offense headlined by Barkley and quarterback Jalen Hurts.

The running back has blown past expectations in 2024, rushing for a league-leading 2,005 yards during the regular season. Barkley has continued to dominate in the playoffs, picking up 442 yards and five touchdowns on the ground in three postseason contests.

As the Eagles look to hoist their second Lombardi Trophy, Chase will be supporting them.
