Photo: NHL Unveils USA, Canada, Finland, Sweden Jerseys for 2025 4 Nations Face-Off

The NHL and Fanatics on Friday revealed additional details included in each of the four jerseys that will be worn at the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off tournament.

The United States, Canada, Finland and Sweden will wear the same jerseys throughout the tourney with the U.S. in navy blue, Canada in red, Finland in white and Sweden in yellow:

Each team will be represented by the best NHL players their countries have to offer in a round-robin tournament held in Montreal and Boston from Feb. 12 through Feb. 20.

Per NHL.com's Nicholas J. Cotsonika, Fanatics senior creative director Dom Fillion explained some of the inclusions on the jerseys that may not be noticeable at first glance.

For Team USA, the phrase "E pluribus unum" or "Out of many, one," is debossed inside the sleeves, and 13 stripes represent the original 13 colonies. Also, each shoulder features a white star, just like the jerseys of the 1980 Miracle on Ice Olympic team.

Canada's wordmark is inspired by the Winnipeg Falcons, who won the first Olympic gold medal in hockey in 1920. Also, the trim on the Canadian jersey is maple white, and there is a debossed maple leaf vine on the sleeves and chest.

Finland features its signature "Suomi" on the front of the jersey, which is the name of the country in Finnish, plus the lily of the valley, which is Finland's national flower, is printed inside the collar and debossed on the sleeve.

Sweden's jersey is highlight by the traditional Three Crowns or Tre Kronor. The crowns have a texture that is "inspired by Swedish crown and armor craftsmanship," plus a Swedish flag is subtly featured on the sleeves.

All four teams are stacked with many of the biggest stars hockey has to offer, which should make for a highly competitive and unpredictable tournament.

Team USA is led by Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews, Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes and Winnipeg Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck.

Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid, Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar and Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby lead the way for Canada.

Finland is highlighted by Florida Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov, Carolina Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho and Nashville Predators goalie Juuse Saros.

Sweden will feature Maple Leafs forward William Nylander, Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin and Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman.

After 4 Nations Face-Off round-robin play concludes on Feb. 17, the top two teams will meet in the final on Feb. 20 in Boston.
