Super Bowl Odds 2025: Prop Picks, Spread Projections for Chiefs vs. Eagles

Zach BuckleyJan 31, 2025

Super Bowl LIX should be a thrill ride.

That feels fairly safe to say given the quality of this matchup between the history-chasing Kansas City Chiefs and the out-for-revenge Philadelphia Eagles.

Predictions need to go a little farther than that, though, at least if you want to convert that foresight into wagering wins. Remember, this is the Super Bowl, so you can gamble on just about any and everything that occurs during an NFL game, from the pregame coin flip to the color of the end-of-game Gatorade bath.

If you prefer to keep your wagers more focused on the football side of things like we do, then we have a few prop picks for your consideration.

Prop pick: Saquon Barkley (+260)

While the Eagles are far from being a one-player team, they clearly have a true game-breaker in Barkley. And if he can control this contest on his own, Philly's offense might have a lather-rinse-repeat feel to it, as this club won't go away from him if it doesn't have to.

Between his 16 regular-season outings and three playoff games, he has handled a whopping 451 touches. He has also converted those chances into 2,760 scrimmage yards and 20 touchdowns. The Eagles keep looking his direction, and he keeps giving them reasons to come back. In his last two games, he's averaged a ridiculous 7.9 yards per carry and piled up five touchdowns.

Kansas City's defense has been stingy all season, but it has been a bit more vulnerable against running backs of late. In their two playoff games to get here, the Chiefs let Joe Mixon and James Cook go for a combined 234 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns. Barkley will be even harder to handle, and his stat line could easily be MVP-caliber.

Prop pick: Kareem Hunt (+900)

It makes sense for Barkley and Hurts to lead this list. The Chiefs haven't put the first points on the board in any of this core's three Super Bowl wins. In fact, the only time Mahomes and Co. have scored first in this round was in Super Bowl LV, when they were bulldozed by Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Hunt looks like the most intriguing option here, though, because his situation feels more favorable than the odds reflect. If Kansas City gets close to the end zone, it'll call upon Hunt to deliver a physical, tone-setting touchdown. In fact, he was the first touchdown scorer in each of Kansas City's playoff wins to get here.

He has a better chance to keep this streak going than oddsmakers are giving him credit for.
