Giants' Kayvon Thibodeaux Calls Out Dez Bryant After Saquon Barkley Post

Doric SamJan 26, 2025

New York Giants defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux didn't take too kindly to former NFL receiver Dez Bryant trolling his team while star running back Saquon Barkley led the Philadelphia Eagles past the Washington Commanders in Sunday's NFC Championship Game.

Thibodeaux responded to Bryant by calling him out for failing to win a Super Bowl title in his career:

Bryant fired back by calling out Giants general manager Joe Schoen for letting Barkley walk in free agency and sign with the NFC East-rival Eagles:

However, Bryant wasn't done there, as he criticized the Giants for lacking talent on their roster and predicted that Thibodeaux would be a trade candidate if New York doesn't turn things around soon:

Rather than continuing the argument, Thibodeaux made an effort to diffuse the situation from there:

Unfortunately for Thibodeaux, the Giants were one of the worst teams in the NFL this season with a 3-14 record. The 24-year-old was limited to 12 games due to a wrist injury and recorded a career-low 28 total tackles while adding 5.5 sacks, two passes defended and a forced fumble. He had notched 11.5 sacks during the 2023 season, so his drop in production added further disappointment for New York.

Of course, Bryant spent eight out of his 10 NFL seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, so there's no love lost between him and the Giants. Per StatMuse, the three-time Pro Bowler produced 65 catches for 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns in 16 career games against New York.

It can be expected that Bryant will have a lot more to say if the Giants' struggles continue in 2025.
