Steph Curry Gifts Jerseys to JJ Redick's Sons After Memorabilia Lost in LA Wildfire

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry gifted a pair of jerseys to the sons of Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

The Redick family had been renting a home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles and it burned down as a result of the L.A. wildfires.

Redick told reporters earlier this month he "was not prepared for what I saw" after returning to where the house once stood.

"Look, we were renting for the year, to try to figure out where we wanted to be long term," he said. "Everything we own, that was of any importance to us, almost 20 years together as a couple and 10 years of parenting, was in that house. There's certain things that you can't replace, that will never be replaced."

Curry's gesture follows that of San Antonio Spurs stars Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul, who gave Knox and Kai Redick signed jerseys after the Spurs beat the Lakers 126-102 on Jan. 13.

Los Angeles managed to come out on top Saturday night, taking down Golden State 118-108.

The Lakers held Curry to 13 points on 4-of-17 shooting, including 2-of-9 from beyond the arc. On the other side, Los Angeles star Anthony Davis led the way with 36 points and 13 rebounds, while LeBron James also had a double-double with 25 points and 12 assists.

With the win, the Lakers remain fifth in the Western Conference at 25-18 and sit two games clear of the Minnesota Timberwolves, who occupy the first play-in tournament spot.
