Can anyone stop Jannik Sinner?

The two-time Grand Slam champion continues to establish himself as the toughest player to beat on the ATP Tour.

The top-ranked Italian defeated 22-year-old American Ben Shelton in straight sets to earn his 20th straight tour-level win and reach the Australian Open final—his third consecutive hard-court Grand Slam final.

Sinner will face Alexander Zverev, who advanced to the final after his semifinal opponent, Novak Djokovic, was forced to retire after the first set due to a lingering left leg injury.

The two-time champion is aiming to become the first man since Djokovic (2020-2021) to win back-to-back Australian Open titles, while Zverev is vying for his first major title in three attempts.

Here's everything you need to know for Sunday's final.

On Sunday, Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev will meet for the seventh time in their careers.

While Zverev controls the head-to-head battle (Zverev leads 4-2), Sinner will open up as the overwhelming favorite.

Since the end of the 2023 season, the top-ranked Italian has played otherworldly tennis. In the last 52 weeks, Sinner has won 59 of 63 hard-court matches.

Despite playing the likes of formidable opponents such as Ben Shelton, No. 8 seed Alex de Minaur, and Holger Rune, the 23-year-old has dropped just two sets all tournament.

While Zverev has also played quite well throughout the tournament, he'll need to remain extremely consistent on his first serve and backhand to have any true chance.

Given Sinner's current form, it'll take a near-perfect effort from the German to secure his first Grand Slam title.

In the end, Sinner should be able to do more than enough to win his third Grand Slam title and continue to establish his dominion over the rest of the tour.
