Commanders vs. Eagles: NFC Championship 2025 Odds and Box Score Predictions
The 2025 NFC Championship game features a pair of NFC East rivals who split their regular-season series at one win apiece.
On one side sits a Philadelphia Eagles team that just matched its franchise record with 14 wins and is aiming to book its third Super Bowl trip in the last eight years. On the other lies the upstart Washington Commanders, a team that tripled its win count from four to 12 in just a single season and has already advanced further this postseason than it's been in two decades.
These familiar foes have taken different paths to reach this point, but they've both earned their spots and will have realistic hopes of getting out of this game with Super Bowl tickets in hand.
Oddsmakers see a clear favorite in this contest, but this could still be an instant classic. Let's dig further into the matchup by laying out the scheduling information and latest lines from DraftKings Sportsbook before providing box-score predictions for a player from each team.

Prediction: Jayden Daniels Throws Multiple TDs and an INT
2 of 3
Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has made a habit of defying the odds. He keeps piling up production at an unprecedented pace and is already just the third freshman signal-caller to author a pair of playoff road victories.
He clearly isn't bothered by the big stage. He played nearly mistake-free football while leading Washington to those consecutive road triumphs—the latest a 14-point triumph over the top-seeded Detroit Lions—throwing 66 passes without an interception and taking just a single sack.
Some of this success won't hold up against the Eagles, though. Philadelphia, which tallied this season's sixth-most takeaways (26), intercepted Daniels three times during the teams' two regular-season meetings. For context, Daniels has thrown just six interceptions in the 17 other games he's played (postseason included).
He'll still have this passing game clicking for the most part and figures to connect on at least two touchdown throws. He won't, however, be able to keep his interception column clean this time around.
Prediction: Saquon Barkley Runs for 150+ Yards
3 of 3
The Eagles have made clear they are perfectly comfortable letting Saquon Barkley attempt to carry them—literally and figuratively—to victory. He's had 51 rushing attempts so far this postseason. For comparison, Jalen Hurts, who's nursing a knee injury, threw the ball just 41 times in those contests.
Philly isn't about to reverse course here. Not when it can punish a Washington defense that allowed the third-most rushing yards per game. (And certainly not when running the ball and controlling the clock keeps Daniels off the field.)
For most running backs, calling for 150-plus rushing yards would be outlandish. Barkley might be the one exception. He has reached that mark six different times this season, including three of his last four outings. He also obliterated this Commanders club during the regular season to the tune of 296 yards and four touchdowns on 55 carries in their two matchups.
Washington will likely try to load up the box and force Philadelphia to throw, but it won't matter. Barkley is simply too hard to contain, and he'll be the reason why the Eagles come out on top.
