National Signing Day 2025: Predictions for Top Recruits After CFP Championship
All of the FBS college football programs are focused on the 2025 campaign now that the Ohio State Buckeyes have been crowned national champion.
Only a handful of notable recruits remain uncommitted with the February signing window on the horizon.
Just one top-100 recruit has yet to confirm where he play next season and a slim number of top-300 recruits are left for programs to sign.
Ty Haywood, OT, Ryan HS (Denton, TX)
Ty Haywood is the lone top-100 recruit who has not yet signed with a FBS program.
The offensive lineman out of Texas decommitted from Alabama and is firmly on Michigan's radar.
On3's Steve Wiltfong and Chad Simmons both predicted that the Wolverines would land the five-star player.
Florida State and Texas Tech are among the programs also still in the mix for Haywood's signature, but Michigan looks like the favorite.
If Michigan lands Haywood, it would be viewed as a big step forward for Sherrone Moore and his staff.
The Wolverines signed two five-star players in the class of 2025 already. Quarterback Bryce Underwood is the prized piece of the recruiting class, but landing Haywood along with five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola would be a huge boost to the program's future.
Prediction: Michigan
Chastan Brown, OT, Northside HS (Warner Robins, GA)
Florida State should be viewed as the favorite to land Chastan Brown.
The top-250 recruit initially committed to UCF, but he decommitted after Gus Mulzahn left to become FSU's offensive coordinator.
The Seminoles are working the previously-built-in connection to Malzahn to try and land one final piece in the class of 2025.
Missouri, Louisville and Arkansas are also in the mix for Brown, per ESPN.com's Eli Lederman.
However, it is hard to imagine Brown landing anywhere else than Florida State given his previous connections to the new members of the coaching staff.
